Hold Employee Lectures to Build a Learning-oriented Zhongtong

Since July of this year, Zhongtong Group has taken the lead in launching the construction of a learning organization at its headquarters. A "Five Ones" activity plan has been formulated, 16 pilot groups have been established, and the forms and evaluation methods of the activities have been clarified. Through a quarter of pilot learning, more than 10 group-level activities have been carried out, covering over 1,200 participants, improving more than 320 projects, and the learning atmosphere at the headquarters has become increasingly strong, with methods and forms of learning continuously enriched, and the effects and new behaviors of learning are becoming evident. To further consolidate and promote learning outcomes, create an atmosphere of "lifelong learning, all-staff learning, and team learning," and continuously explore a long-term mechanism of "work-based learning and learning-based work," on October 25, Zhongtong Group held a staff lecture on the construction of a learning-oriented Zhongtong, sharing good experiences and practices since the establishment of the learning organization at the headquarters. A total of 300 people participated in this lecture, including the leadership team of Zhongtong Group, middle management personnel, employee representatives, and heads of various units. The lecture was hosted by Sun Yinliang, a member of the Zhongtong Group Party Committee and chairman of the labor union.

"Work-based learning, learning-based work," "enriching oneself, serving Zhongtong," "learning is the foundation of innovation," "learning is the horn of Zhongtong's progress," these are the experiences and insights shared by collectives and individuals during this staff lecture. At the lecture, representatives of advanced collectives and individuals who received support for the monthly advanced collective of the learning-oriented Zhongtong shared their experiences. The advanced collectives included: Qidian Group (Zhongtong Group Comprehensive Department), 515 Assembly Group (Special Vehicle Company Manufacturing Department Assembly Section), and Linghang Group (Sanitation Vehicle Company Technology Quality Department R&D Office). The advanced individual representatives were Guo Zhengyang and Guo Bing from the Sanitation Vehicle Company, and Lu Landan and Wang Deguang from the Special Vehicle Company. They shared their thoughts, feelings, and improvements after learning, based on their work experiences, job practices, and learning insights, expressing a strong belief in building Zhongtong, developing Zhongtong, and realizing life dreams together with Zhongtong.
This staff lecture was vivid and in-depth, friendly and relatable, compact yet orderly, rich yet concise. It also innovated in form, with all members of the advanced collectives sitting on the podium. After the collective and individual experience introductions, questions were raised about the shared content, and randomly selected audience members answered them. The results of the answers were ranked and reported by unit at the end of the meeting. This educational format, where employees speak, listen, learn, and benefit, provided a mirror for the majority of employees to receive education, showcase themselves, and reflect on improvements by using typical examples from their surroundings.
To comprehensively launch the construction of a learning organization across the group, the implementation opinions on the construction of a learning organization at Zhongtong Group were also read at the lecture, and the heads of each learning unit read the "Implementation Plan for the Construction of a Learning Organization" for their units. Through continuous learning, the comprehensive capabilities of employees and teams will be improved, striving to achieve a long-term mechanism of "work-based learning and learning-based work." In 2 to 3 years, a learning organization model oriented towards enhancing the core competitiveness of the enterprise will be established, promoting the healthy, sustainable, and rapid development of the enterprise through increasingly enhanced organizational learning capabilities, significantly improving the capability levels of employees, and continuously enhancing the happiness index of Zhongtong people.
At the end of the meeting, Zhongtong Group General Manager Mi Baolun delivered an important speech, explaining the starting point and focus of the construction of a learning-oriented Zhongtong, detailing how to create a learning-oriented Zhongtong, insisting on innovation-driven development, and applying what has been learned to address personal shortcomings, creating a knowledgeable, wise, and happy Zhongtong through the establishment of a learning organization!
