　 On August 23, the finals of the 2023 Shandong Province Second Automotive Assembly Worker Vocational Skills Competition, hosted by the Shandong Provincial Federation of Trade Unions and organized by the Shandong Provincial Defense Machinery and Electronics Workers' Union, Weifang Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, and Shandong Mechanical Industry Science and Technology Association, was held in Zhucheng, Shandong. The event was co-organized by the Zhucheng Federation of Trade Unions, Weifang Engineering Technician College, and Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd. Era Division.

This competition featured 84 contestants from 12 cargo vehicle manufacturing companies, including Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd. Era Navigation Truck Factory, Weichai New Energy Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd., and Zhongtong New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd. All contestants participated in both practical skills and theoretical knowledge competitions. After two days of intense competition, our company's production system representative team won the third prize in the group category and one excellent judge award.

Lei Bo: A Zhongtong craftsman who loves his work, specializes in it, and excels at it (third from the left in the above image).

Lei Bo, the production technology supervisor at Zhongtong New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd., won the "Excellent Judge" award in this competition. Being selected as a judge among tens of thousands of manufacturing professionals in the province is both an honor and a responsibility. He joined Zhongtong in 2005 and has experienced all processes of the four major automotive manufacturing techniques, participating in or leading the trial production and mass production of nearly forty models in the engineering and sanitation series. From a grassroots employee to a section leader, he is hardworking, dedicated, and responsible, successfully completing various production tasks. As a technical supervisor, he is rooted in the grassroots, diligently researching and solving various technical problems, with 96 issues resolved and 38 suggestions for minor improvements and rationalization proposed, saving nearly 400,000 yuan in costs.

Xu Penghua: Responsibility and Innovation, Mentoring the Team to Cross Boundaries.

Xu Penghua, the deputy section leader of the assembly line at Zhongtong New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd., is an automotive assembly technician. As the deputy section leader, he can quickly resolve various production anomalies, ensuring production progress and timely quality delivery. As a manufacturing expert, he deeply understands the production process, analyzes and solves problems, and guarantees vehicle performance. Over his ten years in the company, he has grown from an intern to a senior technician, with his gradual growth reflecting his hard work and silent dedication. He has solved and handled nearly 60 issues and mentored 27 apprentices; striving for excellence and continuous improvement has become the motto of his section. Over the years, the vehicles they manufactured have not experienced a single quality accident, earning market recognition, and Xu Penghua has become a model representative of excellent grassroots management in the production system.

Xu Riguang: Known as the "Hua Tuo" of automotive electricians.

Xu Riguang, an automotive electrician technician at Zhongtong New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd. The automotive electrician is one of the most challenging processes in automotive manufacturing. He diligently studies and has read twelve books on automotive electronics. He is proficient in the principles and troubleshooting of automotive electronics, circuits, hydraulic transmission, and equipment installation and debugging, with keen insight into automotive circuits and unique troubleshooting intuition. His proposed "Installation Process and Performance Debugging Process for Sanitation Vehicle Automotive Circuits" improved work efficiency by 25% and reduced the failure rate by 8%.

Lv Zengwei: Practicing Industry Standards to Create Quality Assembly.

Lv Zengwei, an automotive assembly technician at Zhongtong New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd., is mainly responsible for the installation and debugging of vehicle-mounted components. This process is complex and involves various vehicle models, requiring comprehensive technical skills from operators. He is not only proficient in welding, fitting, and assembly skills but can also draw basic parts and assembly diagrams, making him a versatile worker on the assembly line. In the vehicle assembly process, from tightening bolts to installing the box body, he is meticulous in installing thousands of components. After seven years in the company, he has repeatedly won awards for quality excellence and quality model.
