The Second Employee Representative Assembly of the Eighth Session and the Second Trade Union Member Representative Assembly of the Ninth Session of Zhongtong Group Successfully Concluded On February 6, the Second Employee Representative Assembly of the Eighth Session and the Second Trade Union Member Representative Assembly of the Ninth Session of Zhongtong Group was grandly held in the multifunctional hall on the second floor of the Group's Research Building. 76 employee representatives gathered together to fully exercise their democratic rights, actively fulfill their responsibilities in political participation and discussion, and jointly discuss the reform and development plans of the Group, providing suggestions for the comprehensive achievement of the 2018 operational goals. On February 6, the 8th Second Staff Meeting and the 9th Second Trade Union Member Representative Conference of Zhongtong Group were grandly held in the multifunctional hall on the second floor of the Group's Research Building. 76 employee representatives gathered together to fully exercise their democratic rights, actively fulfill their responsibilities in participating in political discussions, and jointly discuss the major plans for the reform and development of the Group, providing suggestions for the comprehensive realization of the 2018 operational goals.

The conference began with the resounding sound of the "National Anthem" and was presided over by Zhang Daofeng, a member of the Group's Party Committee and Chairman of the Trade Union. At the meeting, Mi Baolun, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Zhongtong Group, delivered a work report titled "Budget Orientation, Scientific Management, Reform Breakthrough, Cultural Leadership, Transitioning from High-Speed Growth to High-Quality Development," objectively summarizing and reviewing the work of Zhongtong Group in 2017, pointing out existing problems, analyzing the current situation and challenges, proposing the overall ideas and operational goals for 2018, and deploying key tasks. The overall idea for the work of Zhongtong Group in 2018 is: to fully implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party and the economic meeting, guided by Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, adhere to the general tone of seeking progress while maintaining stability, highlight the new development concept, take supply-side structural reform as the main line, lead with major projects for the transformation of old and new driving forces, closely focus on the central theme of "quality and efficiency-oriented development," vigorously carry out the "Four Enhancement Projects," effectively implement the "Seven Core Measures," enhance the "Eight Abilities" of leading cadres, and comprehensively embark on a new journey of Group development to achieve new breakthroughs in enterprise development.

Subsequently, Zhang Xu, Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of Zhongtong Group, presented the report on the implementation of the "Collective Contract" for the year 2017, Minister of Human Resources Lu Zejun reported on the implementation of the "Wage Collective Agreement" for the year 2017 and the report on the implementation of the "Labor Safety and Health Special Contract" for the year 2017, Liu Wen, Deputy Director of the Women's Committee, reported on the implementation of the "Special Collective Contract for the Protection of Women's Rights and Interests" for the year 2017, and Su Guangfeng, Director of the Trade Union Fund Review Committee, reported on the "Annual Review of Trade Union Funds for 2017."

In accordance with the procedural requirements of the "Four Doubles" work of the provincial and municipal trade unions, Zhang Daofeng, Chairman of the Group's Trade Union, delivered a work report to the member representatives, elaborating on the main work carried out in 2017, shortcomings in the work, and the work plan for 2018. Subsequently, all member representatives filled out evaluation forms for the Trade Union Chairman on-site. According to the statistics from the on-site monitoring group, the comprehensive evaluation of the Trade Union Chairman's annual work by the member representatives was: satisfied.

During the discussion period of the meeting, the representatives divided into four groups to seriously discuss five reports: the "Annual Work Report," the "Report on the Implementation of the Collective Contract for 2017," the "Report on the Implementation of the Special Collective Contract for the Protection of Women's Rights and Interests for 2017," the "Report on the Implementation of the Wage Collective Agreement for 2017," and the "Report on the Implementation of the Labor Safety and Health Special Contract for 2017."

After soliciting opinions from each representative group, General Manager Mi Baolun provided detailed responses and arrangements for the proposals submitted to the conference, which won the recognition and applause of the representatives. Before the meeting, materials for the 8th Second Staff Representative Conference were distributed (including relevant matters of the preparatory meeting and the "2017 Work Summary and 2018 Work Plan of the Zhongtong Group Trade Union"), and the conference approved five reports.
