On May 23, the highly anticipated 2016 Beijing International Road Transport, Urban Public Transport Vehicles and Parts Exhibition will open at the China International Exhibition Center. These three products include the 2016 industry sales 8-meter pure electric LCK6809EVG, Zhongtong electric business E07, and Zhongtong 11-meter highway bus LCK6118PHEV.

From January to April, Zhongtong sold over 4,000 new energy buses, maintaining the top position in the industry. Among them, the 8-meter pure electric bus LCK6809EVG made a significant contribution, with cumulative sales exceeding 2,500 units in 2016, becoming a model in this sub-market. This "meritorious product" made its debut at the auto show, which is sure to attract industry attention. The LCK6809EVG is a pure electric bus specifically designed for the urban public transport market, featuring a fully loaded body, high-strength steel frame, and lightweight body; the interior space is reasonably arranged, with a standing area of 6.5m². Through intelligent control of key components such as the vehicle's battery, motor, electric assist, and air conditioning, the overall energy distribution strategy is optimized, improving the energy conversion efficiency of the entire vehicle, with a maximum speed of 90 km/h. The high-voltage battery box is equipped with smoke alarms, automatic fire extinguishing, and high-voltage automatic power-off safety design, enhancing the active safety design level.
The LCK6118PHEV Shixuan model is a plug-in parallel hybrid bus developed by Zhongtong Bus to meet the needs of the highway passenger transport market. This model is equipped with a National IV engine and energy power-type battery, based on a multi-speed AMT automatic transmission, matching a permanent magnet synchronous motor to achieve integration and control of the electromechanical coupling drive system. The vehicle control strategy, centered on multi-energy coordinated management, realizes various working modes such as motor assist, pure electric, pure engine, idle shutdown, and braking energy recovery, adapting to various operating conditions. After long-term market validation, this model has high safety and reliability, significant energy-saving effects, and has become a best-selling product for Zhongtong Bus.
The Zhongtong E07 is a pure electric business reception bus jointly designed by Zhongtong Bus and a European design company under the background of strengthening independent automotive research and development in the national 12th Five-Year Plan, possessing complete independent intellectual property rights. The safety, power, comfort, and stability of the Zhongtong E07 have reached the level of similar international products, with the entire vehicle featuring a fully loaded diamond-sealed ring structure, fewer leaf springs, and the front and rear and side panels made of stamped skins, using a business vehicle driver door, new large headlights, high-grade fabric ceiling interior, injection-molded side interior, and business seats. In addition, its electric control system is highly integrated, with a one-piece layout of the high-voltage battery, and the protection levels of key components such as the motor and electric control have reached IP67. After its launch, this product has already received bulk orders from places like Shenzhen and Chongqing, receiving unanimous praise from customers.
Since 2016, Zhongtong Bus has firmly adhered to its new energy development strategy, adjusting its product structure according to market demand, fully enhancing product performance, optimizing vehicle matching, reducing overall vehicle costs, and exploring solutions with customers to increase customer value.
