In May 2015, Zhongtong Bus Company won the bid for 227 LCK6950HG buses for Shenzhen Bus. In the early stages of the bidding process, the company sent technical personnel for on-site research, collecting road profiles based on vehicle operation routes, conducting data analysis, and customizing a sample vehicle for users to have a more intuitive and comprehensive understanding of the product. In 2015, Zhongtong Bus Company conducted multiple studies, such as establishing research on battery swapping, DC charging, AC charging, on-board charging, grid charging, wireless charging, and multi-charging technology with single or dual guns. They developed a pure electric 6-in-1 integrated power supply, which reduced the weight of the vehicle's original functional components by 45%, decreased the volume by 65%, and reduced the number of high-voltage connection points from 29 to 14, enhancing vehicle safety. Additionally, Zhongtong developed its own vehicle controller and an independent electromechanical coupling drive system. All pure electric buses from Zhongtong, except for customer-specific requirements, use this system, achieving a fuel-saving rate of over 50% compared to traditional vehicles.

It incorporates most of the innovative technologies mentioned above, with advantages mainly in fast charging, low energy consumption, large capacity, and high wading depth.
